The kids are officially out of school, for two weeks! What in the world are you going to do with your kids before school starts again?! We have gathered 10 Free or Cheap things that you can do with your kids during winter break! 1. At the Boone County Public library in the Northern Kentucky Area you can take your kids to New Year’s at Noon.  It starts at 11:30am and includes everything a New Years Eve celebration should including a ball drop! 2.  With the milder weather, it would be nice to walk through the arboretum in Lexington.  It’s free!

Christmas at Panther Creek Park!

If you are in the Owensboro area this event is for you! We love this event not only because it helps bring you in to the Christmas season feeling festive but also the proceeds from the event benefits local non profits!  Christmas festivities and giving at the same event? Count us in!  This event is all done from the comfort of your vehicle, so pack your snacks and grab a cup of hot chocolate!  The light display features over 400,000 lights  and it is so affordable!!  The display starts in late November and runs through early January in the evenings.

This weekend make plans to head to the Shaker Village! Why, you ask? To have tea with Mrs. Claus on December 5th of course! What a fun mother/daughter day to spend together. The Shaker Village is providing the perfect setting for a charming tea!
