Kentucky Crafted: The Market

photo ky crafted_zpspek5q2uz.jpgThe Kentucky Art Council puts on an amazing annual display of Kentucky creations at The Market.  Taking place this year April 22-23 at The Lexington Convention Center, The Market features art, craft, music, books and film from all over Kentucky.  Traditional and contemporary art will fill the center and it’s an opportunity for you and your family to see what our amazing local artisans can dream up and create.

Did I mention food?  Oh yes, of course there’s food.  And, live music….seventeen different acts.  It’s all all-sensory experience so there is something for everyone.  Also, it’s in downtown Lexington so if you and your family make a weekend out of it, there’s certainly other things to see and do over the weekend.
