Friday After 5 in Owensboro

Have you been to Owensboro?  Their waterfront is just lovely and the park is one of the best in KY for sure!  During the warm months, they host “Friday After 5” so that everyone can come down to the gorgeous waterfront park and enjoy family fun and live music!  The fun spans 8 blocks in Smothers Park and it’s all free! HWY 41 Yard Sale

Do you LOVE hunting for a deal?  This yard sale weekend is the ultimate in opportunities.  It’s an entire stretch of Highway 41 through multiple counties full of yard sales.     The HWY 41 Yard Sale is June 24th & 25th and goes through Henderson, Webster, Hopkins, Christian and Todd Counties in Western Kentucky. There are so many great events that are going on around our great state on Memorial Day, that we thought that we would start with what the State Parks are offering! New American Legion Water Park in Elizabethtown

This info is from 2016 The American Legion Park Pool in Elizabethtown has undergone a huge renovation. In summer 2016, they are opening a beautiful pool with slides, lazy river, splash pad and more.
