Our writer was given a night's stay at HomeGrown Hideaways for purpose of review.
You can stay in a treehouse with your family, right here in Kentucky. Learn more about the Treetop Flyer in Berea, Kentucky at HomeGrown HideAways.

Family traveler, have you ever daydreamed about living in a treehouse? Imagine sitting high in the tree canopy listening to the wind and birds while either reading with your children or gathering around to play a game, all while being disconnected from your devices. That place exists and it is called the Treetop Flyer at HomeGrown HideAways, just outside Berea, KY. The brand new construction is a magical place where you can be present in nature and in-the-moment with your children and/or partner.

Want to plan a visit? Book your stay here at HomeGrown HideAways. The tree house can sleep a maximum of 8 guests, but it is perfect for a family of five. There are two incredibly cozy foldout beds on the first floor and two more beds in the loft. The Treetop Flyer is a short hike in so pack everyone a bag that they can carry. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, just a short, 3-minute hike away. With reusable grocery bags and our own thermoses, we brought our meals back to the Treetop Flyer to enjoy a 360-degree view of the outdoors from the trestle table inside.

We look forward to bringing our children back to experience another season in the Treetop Flyer. Hopefully, on our next visit, we can trade out our sandals for warm socks and flannel. The fall colors or snow are a must see from this Kentucky destination.
The Treetop flyer is available for booking in October 2018. It is open for the winter, hence the fireplace inside. See the video for an inside look. They only book 3 months in advance, so if space fills up, check back often.
