Hillview City Fair (Hillview)
June 6-8
Hillview is celebrating their 50- year anniversary at the city fair this year. This festival features three days of rides, games, fair food and live music featuring Thunderstruck, Lonesome On’ry & Mean, Tiffany Lynn Puckett and more. $10.00 ride bracelets each day!
Louisville Greek Festival (Louisville)
June 7 & 8
Held at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, this annual event features LIVE Greek music and dancing, authentic cuisine and an outdoor marketplace. Don’t miss the Baklava cooking demo, Greek dance lessons and the Zembekiko Contest.
Capital Expo Festival (Frankfort)
June 7 & 8
Located in historic downtown Frankfort, the Capital Expo Festival features free entertainment, kids crafts and activities, delicious food, a classic car show and even a Glow Party on Saturday evening. Know for showcasing premiere Kentucky artisans, visitors can purchase primitive woodcrafts, wearable art, mosaics, handmade sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, paintings, pottery and hand turned wooden bowls.
Lu-Ray Arts Festival with a side of Music (Central City)
June 7 & 8
This festival celebrates the visual arts! The vendors at the festival will be hand selected for their creativity and quality artwork. Browse booths of one-of-a-kind pieces of art, find unique gifts and watch artists work on their projects.
Beer Cheese Festival (Winchester)
June 8
The Beer Cheese Festival in beautiful, historic downtown Winchester, KY is the only festival in the world dedicated to the celebration of beer cheese! The free festival features music, food, crafts, shopping, children’s activities, and of course, beer cheese. Lots and lots of beer cheese!
Flatwoods Art & Eats Festival (Flatwoods)
June 8
The one-day festival features arts and craft vendors, loads of food trucks , the return of the community mural project spread throughout Flatwoods City Park. Enjoy FREE activities and photo ops for the whole family, plus live performances by Dusty Bo and The Contraband, Vudu Childe, Jeremy Grizzle, The Rail City Dulcimers, and Hailey Barney!
Strawberry Festival at The Cottage (Owensboro)
June 8 & 9
This delicious festival boasts more than 150 artisan and craft vendors, a petting zoo and pony rides. New this year is a car show on Saturday. Of course, there will be strawberry-themed food and treats!
PlayThink Festival (Harrodsburg)
June 12-16
PlayThink Festival is an annual four-day gathering held in Kentucky that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and celebrate movement, creativity, and community. The festival is a family-friendly event, with activities and workshops specifically designed for children and families. PlayThink Festival is a fully sober experience.
Newport Festa Italiana (Newport)
June 13 – 16
Over 120,000 visitors are expected to attend the festival to enjoy many internationally recognized Italian musicians, restaurants and vendors while taking in the sites along Newport’s riverfront. Kids will enjoy rides, puppet shows and games. One of the most popular aspects of the event is the display of historic photographs of the Italian families who settled in that community.
Lyndon Summer Festival (Louisville)
June 14
This two-day event is held at Robsion Park and features a parade, arts/crafts booths, live music, a Kids Village with carnival ride with games and beer garden
The Mountain Girl Experience (Pikeville)
June 20 – 22
The Mountain Grrl Experience is an exciting art and music event with intent to feature and promote the creativity of women in Appalachia in a safe and supportive environment. The female run festival features workshops, live music, art gallery, artisan vendors and demonstrations and so much more. To date the event has raised over $5,000.00 in charitable donations to help Appalachian women in need.
Bullitt Blast City Fair (Shepherdsville)
June 28 & 29
This annual fun-filled event, held at Shepherdsville Park, will have free rides, live music, a flag retirement ceremony, food trucks and fireworks!
