Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival in Henderson, KY

I believe this is what we would call a true Kentucky event.  Combining all of the things we love – music, food, the outdoors and it’s family friendly.  Spend one day or two in Henderson, KY and see a variety of performances.  Wouldn’t this be a great way to say goodbye to summer?  It’s always the second weekend in August.

According to their FAQ page – the concerts are all FREE. Say WHAT?!?!?  FREE is *insert high pitched voice* awesome.  When you are toting kids along – cost can add up so free admission is key.
