Cruisin’ the Heartland is sure to entertain your entire family so be sure and put this event on your calendar and get ready to see beautiful classic cars, and much much more. Everything from live music by local artists to a delicious breakfast catered by Tony York’s, there is something that is surely going to appeal to you.
Friday: (Noon – 5pm) The Shoebox Shop tours. See how cars become fully restored on-site! Guided tours at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Taking place at a local classic car and street rod restoration center (10 minutes from Etown). Location: 4754 Old Elizabethtown Rd., Hodgenville, KY. Contact (270) 358-4838
5pm: Car Cruise
7pm – 10pm: Car Show, Party & Concert by Crushed Velvet at Swope’s Cars of Yesteryear Museum, 1100 North Dixie Hwy. Elizabethtown, KY 42701. Sponsored by Swope Family of Dealerships, a Cruisin’ sponsor since 2010!
8pm: American Graffiti will be shown at State Theater, Tickets will be $3 each.
Saturday: , More than 1,800 Cruise Cars will await you and line the streets of downtown Elizabethtown. There will also be a FREE Concert by The Headstones.
730am-930am – Breakfast at Pritchard Community Center presented by the Elizabethtown Noon Rotary Club. Cost is $8 per person.
11am: Parking begins, gates open. Giveaways every hour!
11am – 9:30pm – Swap Meet, Vendors open, DJ Freestyle, Hardin County History Museum opens, and more! Dennis Gage will be filming his show. Get your car on his show!
5pm: Headstones Concert in the State Theater parking lot.
7:30pm: Lowe’s Garage Cabinets & Ray’s Trailer giveaway. Giveaway is for an 18′ Enclosed Car Hauler Trailer! Must be present to win, must have a registered cruise car.
7:30pm – 9:30pm – The Caribou Concert
