My Town Monday: London, KY

Our great state of Kentucky, has 120 counties and even more little towns that fill these counties. They are made up of hard working good people, that are raising families and earning a living in this state. We want to recognize these places, some times they are map dots, sometimes they are a big metropolis.

Today’s My Town Monday Spotlight is London, Kentucky!

If you have a motocross fan in your family, then a trip to Daniel Boone Motorcross Park is in order!

In mid-October your family could go on an educational day trip. The Camp Wildcat Civil War Enactment and Encampment is recreated next to the original battle site at Camp Wildcat

I couldn’t help but smile when I came across the information for the World Chicken Festival. It happens at the end of September. They have rides, games, a parade and a car show, and of course chicken! Check out the website

No trip to London would be complete without a visit to The Colonel Sanders Cafe and Museum. This is the first restaurant that the Colonel opened. Here are the directions: I-75 Exit 29US Hwy. 25 W. Corbin, Kentucky Phone: (606) 528-2163

Have you and your family visited London Kentucky?
