Farmer’s Markets & Farm Fun around Kentucky

Kentucky is known for it’s agricultural prowess! One of the best family fun activities around the state is to visit a local Farmer’s Market with your family and explore your options.  Maybe you will find something you have never tried before or you can plan a meal around Kentucky Proud items you purchase at the market.  I love the idea of taking kids to show them “this is REAL food – grown HERE but these fine people.”  It’s a valuable lesson to learn that the grocery store is not the actual source of food!
