Urban Ninja Project – Lexington

photo ninja2_zpsajh3ufkf.jpgThere’s a new location opening in Lexington that looks like it’s going to be just the place for families to find some fitness and fun indoors.  It’s called Urban Ninja. They are having a Grand Opening on Febuary 4 from 4-7 p.m. if you want to go check it out.  The event if free.

photo ninja_zpsa2bficsd.jpgUrban Ninja Project is focused on challenging kids to be active through their obstacle course – healthy competition. It is a non-profit organization striving to encourage healthy lifestyles.  To enjoy their obstacle courses, you don’t need a membership – it’s a drop in fee of $5 and that gets you access to the open gym and a class. They have a full class schedule on the right side of their website. If you live in Lexington, it could be a regular spot for you but if you are visiting, without the need for a membership, it looks like a unique place to build into your itinerary.

They even have birthday party options for open gym, urban ninja obstacle course or nurf wars.  And, the rates are really reasonable – check it out here.

They have a video from their website that gives you more of an idea of what they do.
