Date Night Idea: Paint with the Penguins

I have an obsession with penguins, I absolutely love them. In fact I got to do the penguin encounter at the Newport Aquarium. You can see that post here.

Well, the Newport Aquarium is having another event featuring their penguins. It happens Thursday August 26th, from 7pm -10pm. Think you could find a baby sitter and make a date night of it? 

The cost of the ticket, which is a little expensive at $49.95 includes everything that you will need. Paint and paint supplies. Also, included in the price of the ticket are hors d’oeuvres and two drink tickets. 

The best part of the evening is getting to watch the penguins ‘paint’. The penguins are given canvases and paint to create their own works of art. At the end of the evening the paintings are auctioned off and the proceeds benefits the WAVE foundation.
