SomerSplash in Somerset!

Did you know that Somerset has a water park? I didn’t either, but it looks pretty incredible! It is called SomerSplash! Issac’s Cafe at Bernheim Forest

On Tuesday of this week I was invited to Bernheim Arboreum and research center to check out all of the things that they had been working on in Issac’s Cafe. *Cue the musings that Bernheim even has a place to eat* Believe me. Fun in Peryville Kentucky!

If you have any Civil War buffs in your family, then heading to Perrville should be at the top of your Kentucky bucket list! The battlefield was the site of one of the deadliest Civil War battles in Kentucky. Today the 750 acre battlefield hosts a reenactment each October. When there isn’t a reenactment taking place visitors are welcome to explore the site and act out your own battle! Parents against kids anyone?!
