Double Dogs This is an open-air, family friendly joint with everything you would want on an all-American menu  with many items served up…………..in dog bowls.  You can sit inside for a loud, sports-bar, buzzing atmosphere or hang outside on the patio/open air section for something a little more calm – there are still TVs so you can peak at the latest scores.  Also, this place was pretty darn affordable for a dinner out.  The kids meals were $3.99 and included a drink and combined with my salad and tea, our total was around $20. The Louisville Zoo’s spring season starts March 12 with extended hours and attractions reopening weather-permitting. The Louisville Zoo will also begin camel rides March 19 and welcome a new baby camel. Hours move to 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (exit by 6) starting March 12 through September 25, 2016. The Zoo’s attractions including the train, tram, carousel and Great Clips Adventure Ropes Courses will also reopen on this day, weather-permitting.   Disney stores (check your nearest location & their event listings) are hosting special events for Zootopia – the new moving coming to theaters March 4th.   On March 5th, you can take the kids to the Disney Store to get to know the characters from Zootopia. Update: On March 14, 2016 the baby was born after an emergency C-Section.  The mama gorilla passed away due to complications on March 15, 2016. The Louisville Zoo announced today that one of the gorillas in their Gorilla Forest exhibit is expecting!  The baby will likely be born in May 2016 according to the ultra sound findings.  Mom is Mia Moja and dad is Mshind.                      When the baby is born, it will bring the Louisville Zoo’s gorilla count up to 11.  You will be able
